Just "wow".
So, Ironhaus has been nominated by the
Designer Toy Awards, in two categories! What an honor!
The categories are
Best Mini Series (for Universe of Violence), and
Break-Through Artist (Ironhaus Productions)... You can vote once every 24 hours and if you're interested in doing so, who am I to argue with you?
It's very exciting to even get nominated, and I am almost at a loss for words!
In the meantime, the
Ironhaus Store is now open, with the Micro Bastards being "Sold Out" at the moment. I had a "soft open" for the store, but now that I have the swing of things, I'll have stock updated soon, with new colors including metallics and two-toned figures.
Finally, I am working hard on this Summer's Gorewad Monsters release, and I have some big news for that coming up soon, as well as some Ironhaus Store exclusive figures from UoV and
Trutek's HUSTLE line (remember the HORDE figures?).
Those above, are the Rampage Studios exclusive HUSTLE:HORDE figures, sculpted by yours truly and casted by Trutek. Now, imagine what the Ironhaus exclusive color might be... And you have an idea of where I am going with things... I know I keep saying ""more on X later", but I really hate the idea of giving you guys the scoop... Then making you wait more! Nah, I'd never do that to you... But making toys takes time, and a lot of big stuff has been happening, and you'll start seeing the effects trickling onto the blog and into my store soon. Oh, and my birthday is in July... Those who know me, know that I hate birthday surprises unless I am the one giving them. So look for there to be a big secret release in the month of July... I am giving you a heads up now, so pay attention!
Once again, it's a huge honor to be considered for such awards as "Best Mini Series" and "Break-Through Artist"... Even if I do not win those awards, I want to say that I am humbled that I was even nominated. Thank you, to everybody that has stuck with me over the past year (My FIRST year in this field), and I intend to keep bringing you all new toys!

So, I know how much you guys love when toys run late... I know how much you love hearing me bitch about how Jakks Pacific mishandled SLUG Zombies, or Bandai mishandles everything cool that they get their hands on (over on the LRG forum)... So I know that you guys are probably really stoked that I told you all that I was going to have toys ready for you by March.
Be that as it were... I bit off more than I could chew, during a time in my life when I wasn't having that much fun with what I could chew. A change in jobs, and home address, and I was back on track...
