Yes, my pictures, lately, have sucked.

So, I broke my camera... Not in a fit of rage, nor did it insult my mother... I dropped it, and in trying to catch it, I actually knocked it to the ground harder, and broke the digital viewfinder.

I know, I know... Brilliant, right?

So, I apologize that the pictures have been kind of shitty... And I promise that after the holiday break, I will make getting a new camera a priority. I just figured that bad pictures were better than NO pictures, so, I dunno... Lose/lose situation, I guess.

In the meantime, go look at Zectron's blog, where he has neat pictures of his new cockroach/lobster/alien figure. I dig it, and if you're at all into kaiju, you probably will too.

Picture Update, 11/26/2012

Greetings, minions.
I've been working on a bunch of different stuff, lately. Some of it, is already packed up and shipped off to Mr. Nilla, while the most of what I do have is in various states of completion...
Basically, I'm going to show you what I have been working on, with no real explanation as to what each piece means or what project they are for.

There's some new UoV in there, some more shit from a couple of unannounced projects, as well as my attempt at making a micro Hell
Turtle, in the group shot directly above. One of the unannounced projects is a little solo project I am doing... I'll probably announce that
whole deal after Christmas, so stay tuned on that, as well.
Four and a half days left, on the Sound Off comments contest folks, so get
your thoughts in.

I'm not even bullshitting you a little bit: I'm stalling.
I have been working on so many new pieces, that I haven't really had the time to post that much... And none of the pieces are done. I should have a good chance at finishing at least 25% of them tomorrow, so let's cross out fingers for a photo-heavy update on Monday. Keep your eyes peeled.

In the meantime, I'm going to inundate you with links and pictures of shit that I like. Ready? Go.

Man E Toys is a neat site, and did a write up on a project that definitely caught my eye. It's a gimmick called "Monster Boogie", and Google was not particularly helpful in allowing me to find more info on the line. Tune in to Man E Toys for more info. I'll certainly be following. I wonder if they are resin or what.

Eric Nilla needs to update his blog! Be that as it were, he's got some teaser pics up of his next piece for the Universe of Violence line... I'm not just saying this because I'm involved in the project, but I have seen a clear progress shot of this guy, and you don't want to sleep on it! The next couple of UoV figures are going to be "Boss" figures, so stay tuned. You may even see a particular reptile from the fires of the inferno, too.

My dude Luke Harris has been getting his hustle on, getting his craft out, and he's got a ton of stuff working. He's got new Lobo keshi up for sale on his site, as well as a couple of other collaborations that are damned neat. Check it out. He's really stepped up his game as of late, andI wouldn't be surprised to see him making more waves in the near future.

I'm still running this month's contest in the "Sound Off" post. Right now, Antonio is the clear favorite to win. If you're trying to win some free Ironhaus customs (not bootlegs, mind you... Not knocking the craft, but I don't do that), better get your comments in.

Sound Off!

I'm still knee-deep in preparations for upcoming projects, and not quite ready to show off pics of new sculpts and casts... But, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you guys voice your opinions and desires for what I'm doing here at Ironhaus.

So, if you please, take a few moments, and let me know what you think of what IroNilla has offered so far... This also includes criticisms, if you have them. Let me know what you think of where we have been with Universe of Violence, Gorewad Monsters, or other concepts that maybe haven't made it off of the chopping block. Let me know what you think of where we are, or where we're going while you're at it. I think this is crucial to making the Ironhaus experiment work... I'm dedicated to making toys that capture the imagination, inspire people to create, or at least offer folks a chance to capture that nostalgic "new toy" excitement.

So work with me folks. Drop a line in the comments, and help me steer the ship.

Monday Night AH!

 Greetings, minions.

I have been really busy (Like I needed to say that again, haha) on lots of new sculpts, and my excitement for these has been growing for a long time... But the time is nearly here for them to see the light of day.

The number one priority, as far as I understand it from the emails and comments that I receive, is Hell Turtle. You guys have been very patient about this guy, ever since the first concept sketch went up for the OMFG 2 submission "contest" (Don't even get me started...), I have gotten lots of great feedback on this guy. Even when the micro/cutesy Gorewad Monsters version, "Diet Hell Turtle", HT's small but loyal following made their voices heard.  I can't give you guys a hard release
date yet, but I would keep your eyes peeled for an announcement from
Eric Nilla and myself this month. 

After Hell Turtle gets his big debut, Mr. Nilla and I will have a few big things to get your attention. I'm also working on a little solo project that I think you guys will get a kick out of. So, keep your eyes open folks... New Universe of Violence figures are coming! And these random pictures that I put up here, may just have some of the new cast of UoV hidden within them. You know how I do.

Oh yeah... Antonio. Riddler. Get me your addresses, and I'll get your prizes
