Draznar Uncensored

As the title says, my portion of the site is going to involve me talking about whatever the hell I damn well please. That being said, I'm going to try and keep things toy-related, and possibly even mini figure related.

I've got a project underway that I want to talk about, but I have to wait awhile before I feel like I can. I just don't have enough of anything to make a reasonable article yet, but rest assured I think fans of mini figures will enjoy it. That being said, I need the help from someone who can scan images with good resolution. If you know someone who can or are that person please message me on LRG, (Draznar), or facebook, (if you know my real name).

I just recently got my hands on some of the most recent Ironhaus items. Bacon Shark, Meathook, and the new gorewads. As usual, Jimmy has knocked it out of the park with his sculpting abilities. Meathook reminds me of Grover, from Sesame St. Not sure if that was intentional or not, (knowing Jimmy it probably was), and it has actually forever "ruined" that character for me. Now when my six year old asks me to read, "The Monster at the end of this book", all I can think about is Meathook. GG, bro. And I still never thought I'd hear the words. "bacon" and "shark" in the same sentence before the figure existed. What an amazingly awesome thing.

Anyways, if you haven't got these figures yet, be sure to get on board. You won't regret it!

"Dine on death, feast on destruction"

Man's reliance on nuclear power, ultimately, was the very dependency that would destroy everything.
Humanity was notorious for it's avarice. Every enterprise known to man employed penny-shaving tactics in business, and construction was certainly no stranger to that principle. When a construction company won a bid for a Pacific shoreline reactor, the cost-cutting practices went in effect immediately, affecting everything from materials to staffing. The job was finished before deadline and far under budget, resulting in promotions for those in charge of the project, and a hefty profit for those financially invested in it. Things were good... For a while.
The cheap materials and rushed craftsmanship didn't hold up for long, as five years later, the reactor was put to the test during a meltdown... And the reactor failed, miserably. What came next was expected, and unstoppable.
Death. On a grand scale. Radiation touched everything within a 50 mile radius, polluted the waters, and poisoned the air.
The irradiated and necrotic flesh of not only the humans that died in the area, but every living thing in the area, gained a hive-like sentience and began to reconstitute itself. The aggregate monster took pieces of destroyed buildings, automobiles, trains, and whatever else it needed to create a corporeal form. The moment it learned to stand, the colossus made out of radioactive death emptied it's lungs and nuclear effluvia filled the skies.
Cable news media named it "The Necrolossus", and he stomped towards civilization looking to feast.

The Necrolossus rotocast vinyl figure, will be released soon by Unbox Industries. Keep your eyes peeled for more news here, or at Unbox Industries' web page and Instagram.

The Necrolossus

So, that big project that I have eluded to numerous times over the past year? I can finally talk about it.

I was approached to be a part of a kaiju themed project, with three other artists, for Unbox Industries. Over the next few weeks, Unbox will be revealing the sculpts on their Instagram. For now, though, here's a couple of more pictures of my sculpt, the Necrolossus!  The top picture is the original sculpt, and below is the wax prototype. It's been really exciting, working with Unbox, and I am very grateful for the opportunity!
